A Luxury Hunter Valley Escape

Thank you so much to the very friendly staff who made my birthday weekend at the Hunter very enjoyable. Special mention to Kym the Event Manager and Bilanca the maître @ Legend Restaurant who went out of her way to make my birthday dinner exceptional. The food and wine were the best I have enjoyed.
It was the perfect location for our plans to catchup with friends and family. We did run out of time to play golf …. Next visit. A very big thank you!

We have had a lovely 2 night stay here. The staff are lovely, the pool and restaurants on the premises are very handy and good. The golf course is a must play if you are a golfer. Played it twice and loved it. The rooms are generous in size, bed is comfy, but the villa we were in needs a little face lift. It’s a little older and showing. All in all I would recommend here and we will certainly be back.

Chateau Elan at The Vintage Hunter Valley exceeded all expectations. Beautiful grounds, very peaceful, friendly attentive staff and fantastic facilities. We walked, played golf, rode around the community of our bike, swam, dined onsite and nearby. Didn’t touch a drop of wine or visit any cellar doors because we had too much to do right there. Can’t wait to go back.

We stayed at Chateau Elan for 2 nights for our anniversary and had an absolutely amazing time. The service was smooth and amazing at reception, we felt so taken care of and relaxed. We took advantage of the spa and had a blast of a time with a couples package, massage was wonderfully relaxing and time at the mineral spa and sauna was great. The location is very convenient and close to wineries and restaurants. The daily breakfast was great too, heaps of options and amazing barista coffee at the bar!
Absolutely recommend the stay, we had a great time.

Had everything you needed except paper towel, sharp knives, serving bowl & platter.
In the process of refurbishing rooms. Bath/ensuite well supplied if a little run down. Should be finished by next visit.
Staff as always polite helpful & genuinely obliging – hard to find these days.
NSW golf open on – you would never know it was so quiet. Unaccompanied golf buggies navigating the fairways was great entertainment from our patio. Kangaroos & blue tongues very polite visitors (staff have them well trained).

A perfect hotel and golf resort in Pokolbin, Hunter Valley, NSW Australia. I never encountered more friendly, service minded personnel. We had a spacious room with beautiful view of the golfcourse and kangaroos resting in the park. Three restaurants on walking distance with very good food made it all very convenient! Highly recommended!

Surprisingly beautiful place with serene views over a hilly golf course. Cozy room (ours even had a vas fireplace) with a hot tub and comfortable outdoor seating. Villas are surrounded by rosemary bushes, it’s gorgeous! Kangaroos on the lawns. Very quiet. Welcoming staff. Definitely recommend!
